Notice to all GC Tenants: Expo Holidays · 世博会放假通知
Following the announcement of two additional holidays for all of Shanghai by the Municipal Government last week, the German Centre Shanghai Management Office changed its original May Holiday arrangements to the following:

Please note the German Centre shuttle bus stop (Zu Chong Zhi Road) and the schedules will remain unchanged during the construction period of the Zhangjiang moetro station.
According to the information published by the Shanghai Metro, Zhangjiang metro station will be closed from Feb. 14-23, 2010. There will be 20 free shuttle buses in service between the Longyang and Zhangjiang station and will stop in front of the 2 metro stations.

GSN: Building Fire Fighting System Test · 防爆预警系统检查
An internal test on the building’s fire fighting system will be conducted on Nov 21, 2009 (Saturday) between 8:00-17:00. The relevant areas include: office building and apartment building.
Please take note of the following during the system check:
- Elevators will be suspended, please use staircase instead.
- Electricity might be cut off temporarily.
- The ventilation in the whole building might be switched on and might cause some noise.
- The fire alarm might be activated, followed by the rolling down of the fire.
There is no need to evacuate the building.
Please ensure all sensitive equipment (e.g. computers) is switched off or on alternative power supply (e.g. UPS) at that time to avoid any damage.
We sincerely apologize for such short notice and any inconvenience which might cause. For any question, please feel free to contact our reception at 2898 6000.

Dear Tenants,
German Centre Property Management Office will clean the facade for the third time of this year starting from June 10th. The project is estimated to be finished within 20 days. The working hours are from 7:00 -17:00 everyday.
We would much appreciate if you kept the windows closed on the day of cleaning in your area.

Power Line Maintenance Work · 电气设备检修
Shanghai Municipal Electric Power Company will perform maintenance work on our power line between 0:00 am to 06:00 am on February 27th, 2009. During that time the power will be cut for several minutes.
Please ensure all sensitive equipment (e.g. computers) is switched off or on alternative power supply (e.g. UPS) at that time.
接到上海市电力公司的通知，于2月27日凌晨零时至6时对德国中心电力线进行电气设备检修。届时可能会造成1至2分钟的瞬时跳电。

The marble floor in corridor between Atrium and Tower 2 is under renovation now. The project will last for approximately six weeks. Our apologies for the inconvenience caused. · 位于一号楼中庭至二号楼之间的通道（外服门前）正在整修。工程大约需要持续6个星期。非常抱歉对给您带来的不便，尽请谅解。

Floor Coating Construction from December 26th to January 12th! · 12月26日至1月12日德国中心对地下停车场地坪整修!
To improve our basement parking conditions, German Centre will start the second sectional coating construction from Dec. 26th 2008 to Jan.12th 2009.
During that period, the south side of Tower 3 in the basement will be blocked. Please kindly find parking spaces out of this area. The construction would not affect staff canteen’s daily service.
在检查过程中，请注意以下事宜：
- 电梯将暂时停止运行，请使用楼梯。
- 供电可能暂时被切断。
- 风机可能运行，并有可能产生一定噪音。

Fire System Check on December 6th! · 12月6日德国中心消防警报系统检查!
To insure the building security, German Centre Property Management Office will perform a through check of the fire systems and relevant equipment from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on this Saturday Dec. 6th.
It cannot be out ruled completely that some alarms or fire shutters might get activated due to the system check. There is also the possibility of a short power failure. The Property Management Office will try its best to minimize any possible inconvience. Please assure that fire shutters within your premises are not blocked by any furniture or other items.

为进一步确保大楼的安全，德国中心物业管理处将定于2008年12月6日下午2点对1至3号楼消防警报系统进行设备检查。

Power Line Maintenance Work on November 5th! · 11月5日德国中心电气设备检修!
Shanghai Municipal Electric Power Company will perform maintenance work on power line 2 on November 5th. Currently, we use both power lines, 40% of each, so a switch ofall power usage to only one line should not present any foreseeable technical trouble. To minimize any possible inconvenience, the property management will take the following precautions:
- Switch all power usage from line 2 to line 1 at 5:00 am on November 5th, power on line 2 will stop for max. 30 minutes
- Switch back to original power line at 5:00 am on November 6th, power on line 2 will stop for max. 30 minutes
We would like to encourage you to use your office air-conditioning sparingly on that day, whether conditions permitting.
Thank you for your usual support and cooperation.

The new booth is located in tower 3, right next to the Lawson store. Prices are 10RMB for small pictures and stickers and 20RMB for document-quality ID pictures.
ND50, imported from Japan, is newly developed instant photobooth by Nippo Auto Photo. It can provide top quality photos in various sizes. The ID photos it provides are mainly used for passport, visa application, resumes, etc. There is also a function to take fun photos.

Holidays! National Day! · 国定假日！国庆节！
National Day is coming and we have a seven day holiday from 29 September thru 5 October. The GC management office will be closed on these days, as will the staff canteen. The shuttle bus will also not be in operation on these days. We will be there for you as usual from 6 October. · 国庆长假即将到来，假期为7天，自2008年9月29日起至10月5日止，假日期间，德国中心办公室将放假，员工餐厅和班车，也相应停止运营。10月6日我们将恢复正常工作。

Power Line Maintenance Work on September 24th! · 9月24日德国中心电气设备检修!
Shanghai Municipal Electric Power Company will perform maintenance work on 1 of our 2 power lines on September 24th. Currently, we use both power lines, 40% of each, so a switch ofall power usage to only one line should not present any foreseeable technical trouble. To minimize any possible inconvenience, the property management will take the following precautions:
- Switch all power usage from line 1 to line 2 at 5:00 am on September 24th, power on line 1 will stop for max. 30 minutes
- Switch back to original power line at 5:00 am on September 25th, power on line 1 will stop for max. 30 minutes
- To ensure smooth operation of power line 2 throughout that day, air-conditioning for all public areas will be switched off.
We would like to encourage you to use your office air-conditioning sparingly on that day, whether conditions permitting. Please ensure all sensitive equipment (e.g. computers) is switched off or on alternative power supply (e.g. UPS) for both switches between power lines at 5:00 am on September 24th and 25th.

Since 8 September, both the German Centre Management Office and the GSN Facility Management Office are located in the Atrium in Tower 1, to the right of the main entrance as you walk in. All phone numbers and other contacts remain unchanged. Important Notice - Shuttle Bus · 紧急通知 - 班车停靠点变更
Following a request by the Municipal Government our shuttle bus will use a new stop, closer to the Western exit of the metro station, on Zuchongzhi Road, corner of Bibo Road starting from this Thursday, September 4, 2008. · 根据市政要求，从本周四（9月4日）起，德国中心班车地铁站停靠点移至祖冲之路（张江地铁站西出口方向，靠近碧波路）。

German Centre Property Management Office will begin to clean the facade of the apartment building for the third time of this year. The project is estimated to be finished within one week. The working hour is from 9:00 -18:00 everyday from tomorrow afternoon (August 5th).
We will appreciate if you can cooperate with us to close the windows.

GC News: Construction work in progress · 德国中心管理团队：工程开工
Dear Tenants,
The project of extending the driveway in front of Tower 1 will start from next Monday (14th July) and take approx. 30 days. During this period, only one of the access doors of T1 can be used as normal. Please pay attention to the notice on the door. The construction will not influence the operation of our shuttle bus. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your support and cooperation.

At 6:00 p.m.on Wednesday, June 18, the following 4 teams will compete for the first 4 places of the GC Shanghai Table Tennis! The contenders for the GC Table Tennis Cup are: eBay CDC 2, German Centre 1 (battle for 3rd and 4th place), eBay CDC 1 and eBay CDC3 (battle for 1st and 2nd place). Come to the conference room in the basement of Tower 1 to cheer for your favorite team! Every visitor can get one drink, one hotdog or a selective soup for free. We’re looking forward to see you!
